Job Description

Required Skills:


  • Proven Data Center operations management experience
  • Data Centre facility management knowledge.
  • Change management and process/procedure reengineering experience based on ITIL definition.
  • Information security management knowledge
  • ITIL concepts, in particular for Service Delivery Management.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 security standard requirement.
  • Asset Management (Experience with tools/process).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Service-oriented mindset and customer focus.
  • Self managed, highly motivated and has a strong drive for results.
  • Skilled in managing a team with various technical skills and background.
  • Strong leadership quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact internal/external clients/vendors.


Roles and Responsibilities:


Maintain Data Center Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and recommend/implement solutions that will ensure company meets/maintains SLAs. Responsible for all aspects of Data Center infrastructure operations and technical service delivery, including:


  • Assist Head of Department on managing IT infrastructure Service Delivery management.
  • Maintain and uphold Service Level Requirement (SLR) as what has been agreed in the contract with Service Delivery partner.
  • Plan, co-ordinate, manage and control the changes to infrastructure so that it adhere to the Change Management Process.
  • Manage support team to ensure smooth and efficient execution of daily technical and operation services.
  • Establish and enforce professional standards and procedures in the Service Delivery team such that a high level of standard, security and quality in the team's products and services are maintained. 
  • Review standards and procedures to ensure control, accountability, security and efficient utilization of resources.
  • Review changes in system software and hardware configuration and establish upgrade plan to maintain a supportable Infrastructure .
  • Review all incidents that does not meet SLR.
  • Support and participate in Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives.
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of all contractual deliverables.
  • Provide direct leadership to operations staff’s performance management, delegation, conflict resolution, training and /mentoring.
  • Purchase and budget for all Data Centre activities.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge, accurately enforce and revise as needed all SOPs and company practices.
  • Manage ISO270001 audit requirements
  • In the event of major service outage, manage and escalate the situation in adherence to current SOPs. 
  • Manage Data Centre facility infrastructure and capacity planning to meet IT service hosting requirements.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure operations / technical delivery service management.
  • Experience in IT outsourcing environment would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of a related Bachelor's Degree. Other qualification with more years of experience may be consider.
